It is a fixed, or nonremovable, restoration, and works by literally “bridging” the gap caused by your missing tooth or teeth to restore your smile. Bridges can also replace or prevent you from needing a removable partial denture, and will support the shape and volume of your face.

The Dental Bridge Process

Dental bridges typically require two appointments to complete. At the first appointment our dentist will use our intraoral scanner to capture 3D images of your teeth and create digital impressions, as well as prepare your teeth to receive the bridge. After your bridge is designed you will return for a second appointment where we will check that the bridge fits properly before bonding it permanently into place. Our dentist will discuss your treatment plan and timeline with you during your initial consultation so you know what to expect before beginning treatment.
